
a topography of fingerprints and Hive, are artist books created as part of an ongoing collaboration between Penelope Stewart and Laura Vickerson. This two-volume boxed set, is a second iteration of their residency experience and their exhibition/installation in a beehive kiln titled houselife at Medalta Museum, Medicine Hat, Alberta, 2017. Medalta is an historic site, a once thriving ceramic factory comprising now a museum, a contemporary art gallery, artist studios and residencies. A second short residency took place at Open Studio, Toronto in the winter of 2018 where both artists worked to realize their editioned artist books.
